Diane Foster spent years as an occupational therapy assistant, helping older adults and people with limited mobility choose, fit and learn to use mobility scooters. She saw what works in a real home and what gets abandoned in a garage after a month.

For every scooter she reviews, she checks the things that decide whether a rider keeps using it: stability and turning radius, how heavy each piece is to lift, real range on a charge, seat comfort, and how it handles cracked sidewalks and small ramps.
